Fantastic experience this evening dining at Madras! The premises was bright, clean and welcoming and the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Arun was ace, he offered some great insight into South Indian foot and was incredibly passionate about the subject and gave us some great recommendation as to what we ordered. Service was efficient and relaxed. 100% recommend! An amazing addition to Bearwood!

Our first visit to this South Indian restaurant was a fantastic experience! Our host was super friendly and took us through the menu making recommendations (helpful if you’re less familiar with South Indian dishes). His suggestions were excellent and they even prepared a dish that wasn’t on the menu. So accommodating. The food itself was tasty and generously portioned. We certainly left full! I’ll definitely be going back!
It's our third time visiting, the food is always amazing. First two times we came for breakfast but now it was main course. Even my Hungarian parents loved it. The staff is lovely, and everything is clean and modern. We'll definitely come back!

I visited this place as I wanted to taste some South Indian food. After long time had proper authentic South Indian food which gave me homely vibe. Food was super fresh and absolutely outstanding. The service was impeccable from start to finish , from starters to mains , everything was hot , tasty and generously portioned and priced. The owner came and greeted us personally and told us the back story and how they prepare each of the dishes. A hidden gem that showcases authentic South Indian cuisine and has a great atmosphere.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the rich aroma of authentic South Indian spices that immediately set the tone for the meal. The food was exceptional — full of vibrant flavours and perfectly balanced spice. The dosas were crisp and golden, served with delicious coconut chutney and a tangy sambar that was full of spice. The vegetarian dishes were packed with flavour — the paneer and curries were especially impressive packed full of flavour. What really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients and the care put into every dish. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff were happy to explain the dishes according to our Punjabi taste profiles .
